⁣ ⁣HAPPY SATURDAY BABES! Today’s workout is fueled by @vitalproteins #ad! I’m loving all of your instagram story tags and feed posts with the #Seltering hashtag (I don’t miss a thing, unless you’re on private!!)⁣ ⁣ ⁣I’ve been getting a lot of messages from you guys asking how I keep myself motivated, but just like anyone else I have times where I feel unmotivated too especially recently. Here are some tips & tricks I do to help myself stay positive and on track though!⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣•Give yourself daily positive affirmations ⁣ ⁣ ⁣•Switch up your routines and try something new⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣•Don’t compare yourself. The only person you should be competing with is yourself- focus on you!⁣ ⁣ ⁣•Remind yourself everyday what it is YOU want and believe in yourself! Words and thoughts are more powerful than you think⁣ ⁣ ⁣•Celebrate the small wins, they all lead up to your final goal⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣•Rather than thinking; “I hate exercising and find it boring”  replace that with ; “I love exercising because of how good I feel after and let alone the results that will come!” Once you replace those negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Please remember to be proud of yourself and what you have already achieved especially given life’s recent events. Take it one day at a time, we are in this together! 😘⁣

“I find it hard to motivate myself to do my workouts at home.”⁣ I have spoken to a few #BBGcommunity members about how they are going working out from home and although most people are trying to be positive about this change, I want to acknowledge the women who are finding it hard to get motivated.⁣ ⁣ The reality is that some women LOVE going to the gym and they are not enjoying working out from home. I do not want you to feel like you are failing if this is the way you feel!! We are all going through big changes and it is NOT always going to be easy. However it seems like we are going to be in this situation for a while and we need to make our training WORK for us and make the best of what we have.⁣ ⁣ So, for the ladies who need some help getting motivated to do your workouts, here are some things you can do:⁣ ✅ Get all of your equipment organised. All you need for BBG is a chair, a skipping rope and dumbbells, but if you do not have them organise alternatives using things you have around the house (for example, use empty milk cartons filled with water or anything heavy instead of dumbbells). Lay down your mat in a safe and comfortable space, you will only need the space of your mat to do BBG so you don’t need much room. ⁣ ✅ Make a playlist with music that gets you pumped up and play it during your workout. ⁣ ✅ Use the planner on the @SWEAT app to book your workouts in and then treat them as if they are an appointment, this will help you to make them a priority. Our research shows that if you have used the planner in @SWEAT to schedule your workout, you are 3 times more likely to do your workout, so this really works.⁣ ✅ Find someone who will help to keep you accountable and message you to check in and make sure you are getting your workouts done. ⁣ ✅ Keep track of your progress by writing down how you are feeling each day, it can be really motivating to look back at how far you’ve come. ⁣ ⁣ #BBGcommunity, how have you been getting motivated at home? Share your tips in the comments below!⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ #BBGatHome #SWEATatHome

Education Time! 💪🏽🖤 What is the difference between @1stphorm BCAAs and EAAs?? And which one would be best to purchase? First let me explain what each one is, BCAAs are Branch Chain Amino Acids. The 3 essential amino acids your body requires to operate. Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine. You would ideally want to use BCAAs during your workout to preserve lean muscle, burn fat, and to prolong the intensity of your workout, as well as increase muscle recovery. Now, @1stphorm EAAs have 9! Essentials Amino Acids that mimic the exact amino acid profile as your muscle tissue, giving you the ability to rebuild muscle faster than it's being broken down! EAAs will boost your ability to recover and to add more lean muscle mass and can be taken throughout the day. The reason you should be taking one of these supplements is because the body cannot produce BCAAs or EAAs itself! And they will help you recover faster so you are not as sore and can have another hard workout sooner and make progress faster. Now which one to choose?? Personally I believe EAAs are the superior choice here for the serious athlete looking to maximise their muscle building potential. EAAs will give you ‘more bang for your buck’ because you get more benefits out of it than BCAAs, but know that a serving of EAAs has caffeine the equivalent to a cup of coffee, so a great daytime pick me up but BCAAs will be better to sip on during an evening workout or at night when you are hungry but out of calories for the day! 💪🏽🙌🏽🖤 I hope this helped a bit! Check out @1stphorm for the BEST supplements out there! #iam1stphorm 💕

Epic outdoor speed ladder workout [save, share, tag a friend] will be shooting more videos outdoors and wanted to repost this one. The speed ladder is all about repetition and teaching your brain these patterns. Focus on getting the pattern, before you think of speed. Try it out and let’s move outside.

❣️ GIVING BACK ❣️What an absolute whirlwind it’s been. The uncertainty and stress are running on high and a large portion of the world is in quarantine😢. We voluntarily shut the doors of my gym @hourglassworkout prior to the lock down which is very scary as the owner of a 5000 sf facility in downtown Toronto 🥺.. but we knew it was the right thing to for our members & team . We know people are in need of staying active not only to maintain their body, but for mental health, and immune support. My team decided to put our workout app TWL APP for 💥 FREE 💥for a month to get people moving. It works for home or gym, so just choose the home alternates. There are quick 25 min workouts for those that are busy and longer intense workouts as well. **The app auto-subscribes after a month if you don’t cancel (cause it’s an app, and that’s how they’re set up). Please just mark your calendar to unsubscribe before day 30 to enjoy it at your leisure until then, or continue on if you like. We hope this helps as we know times are uncertain. Use the link in bio for TWL APP (NOT the App Store). Sending hugs around the world from Toronto🌎❤️. xoxo Lyza, Tyson & the team. ☺️Tag a friend that needs this. . .
